Escorted from the Sunshine Coast

Yesterday being a public holiday in Queensland, Mark from the Sunshine Coast met us at our accommodation,and escorted us out of town ,i think just to make sure we left.
We then met Bruce and Karen and they took us the back roads , many twisties again and up and down hill, it was a very enjoyable ride ,It started to sprinkle then it rained .

They departed our company at a junction where Alan had a presentation and made them Pale Riders they now have a shirt and a coin.

Of course the Photos were taken.
Vic was the leader on the next route and Alan and Frank just speed passed him (i think they think it is a race) of course they missed the turning and we winded up at a Marybrough turn off , where A group of Ulysses were waiting for some others ,they guy was the Fraser Coast President.
We did a u turn and set of back the way we came doing well over the speed limit.
Turning off we headed for Biggenden,bummer it was dirt road for 10 ks but good dirt, Warren did not like it much on his big bike but he was ok.
Refueled and back again to the racing to Bundaberg it was still pi...ing with rain.
We all wanted to go and see the Bundaberg distillery so we set off Vic had already made enquiries to see if it was going to be open, we arrive at 2-30 dripping wet, BUGGER the last tour was 2pm and you missed it,very digrunted we head for our motel after buying some Bundy liqueur. Very nice nectar

Arrived at our motel at 4-30 pm and there was a little discussion as the guy said that there was no reservations , after some more  heated discussions we were allocated our rooms .
Wayne ordered the courtesy bus from the RSL for 5-30 p
A quick shower and we are on the bus on time.
Me Having a shandy ,Vic water the others got into the beer and red wine, Denis rang his cousin and  he joined us ,the noise was deafening
We decided to walk back to our motel for some piece and quite , Vic was not feeling well so we headed back to the RSL get a ride home on the bus..
