Took Alan for a little culture walk to see the sights of Gundy but it was a waste of time ,we took some photos and headed for the pub.
Had a meal at the old Victoria pub in town ,and it was great Vic felt a wozzy again so we headed back to our hotel.
Waking at 5-30.am In Queensland we rode to the local bakery for breaky, saying goodbye to Frank as he did not want to ride to lightning Ridge with his tyre going bald ,kisses and photos we are on our way.
It was going to be a short day 385 k on straight roads with road trains and all sorts of mining equipment ,and of course the many caravans.
We passed through many "cousins"  towns and they were waiting for the pubs to open.
Arrived in Lightining Ridge at 1pm NSW time and got our allocated rooms where Vic just collapsed onto the bed.

Our friend Jack took us in his 4X4 and Alan rode his bike ,Jack was very informative and a good tour guide. He took us around many Opal mines and explained the different aspects of the diggings.Wayne was the only brave one to go down into Jacks diggings.also went to the hot spar just out of town .Jacks home was very humble.Vic stayed in Jacks humble home as he was very unwell .The Dinner was across the road to the Bowling Club and was very enjoyable, said our farewells to Jack and thanked him for an enjoyable day.
Denis has been very thoughtful about Vics condition as he rides with us as ,Alan speeds on ahead.
We have only Five riders now until we reach Rylstone tomorrow-night
