Heading South
Leaving our motel in Rockhampton at 7 am we traveled inland passing through Mount Morgan ,
Dululu and having breakfast at Biloela,.
Denis got a message from Alan that he had left the place in Mackay at 6 am and was on the road about 200 ks behind us.
Stopping for a wee break at a little town called Eldsvold ice cream and a drink
We then went through Monto and headed for Mundubbera and onto Gayndah Vic was not feeling the best , we left the Boys there as they were going to wait fir Alan and have lunch with him.
We just took our time traveling as it was very hot it reached 36c with all our motorcycle gear on we were boiling.
We arrived at the Shady Rest Motel , and waited until the boys arrived.
Alan had cut his fingers on some coral whilst he was scuba diving and was on anti bionics
He says he rode 900 klms today in 9 hours and 15 minutes (have not got the full story about the scuba yet)
We are now heading for the RSL for dinner.
Vic after a little rest is feeling a lot better, only 3 more nights and we will be home on Thursday and he can get to his Drs
To morrows ride is only a short one 409. Todays was 550 really buggered , will need a holiday after this
