Still raining To Yeppon

Well today stared off real bad. Vic was still not feeling the best woke with a dreadful headache,

Then we could not find his bike keys all the boys are waiting, Warren left us and headed back to Sydney as he had no more time off.
Still looking for the keys ,we turned the room upside down,"ding",I remember after about 1/2 hour i took them off him at the RSL the night before and I put them in my handbag. All is well still raining.
Alan in his wisdom decides to be the leader ,so he takes off, we do two u turns before we get out of Bundaberg,Vic is not impressed,.
We are heading for Yeppon but first we want to see 1770 to show Alan a little history of Australia, well all that went out the window.
Alan and Frank are so far front after leap frogging all the trucks caravans and cars, we don't see them and we go riding passed, Alan had stopped for Breakfast at a roadside cafe, but he was camouflaged  with his green wet weather gear, Vic and I ride on to 1770 and have our breakfast, then the boy come riding by, i think we were playing hide and seek, as they did no see us. After our breakfast we rode on to see if we could locate them .about 15ks down the road they had stopped and were eating breakfast.
Alan is now leader again and as changed Vic's routes and we keep going into built up areas and main shopping towns.
Still pouring ,the spray from the trucks just showers over us really drenching.
Alan and Frank again are so far in front we cant even see them on the highway.Denis is not far behind them.
After passing a few trucks we see Alan stopped at petrol station, they decided to have lunch and a pee ,
Still pouring ,we arrive at Yeppon in a nice motel  and under cover after another 450 k day
It will be more drinking of the red wine and Beer to night as we are just across a car park to a Taven.
It will be a good time for Vic to take  a rest
We both have been eaten alive with cant seeims (midgies)
We head for Airlie tomorrow
