Nundle to Nambucca 26/9/2012

Day 2 from Nundle to Nambucca
After a great breakfast we set off at 8-15 saying goodbye to Pauline and Neil, and Ian , as they were only coming for the one night.
We meet Frank Henry at the roundabout at Dungowan and we are all ready to ride the twisties .The boys zip and Zap around the corners I am tail end charlie as now way mI can keep this racing pace.
We regroup after about 1 hour and Alan tells us that his boot lace was caught in the chain and snapped nearly throwing him off the bike.He now has 1/2 a boot lace to tie up. He says he will endeavor to tuck them in.
We then head to the Apsley falls on the Oxley highway , then stopping for morning tea at Gingers creek.
Wizzing around the twisties and the logging trucks. We again regroup as they are waiting for me at Long Flat
Frank knows a back road to telegraph point for lunch where Alan lost it on a sharp corner and went into the rough stuff just missing a white post.Him with his motor skills got out of the dilemma .
We then went the back roads to South West Rocks to see the old jail, but  missed the turn in Crescent Head and did a u turn and ended up at the jail.
We are all in dire straits to get petrol and had to do some back tracking to find a petrol station.
We arrived at our destination at 4-45 and now heading for the golf club for dinner.
Vic improved at the day progressed and is now happy and nearly has his memory restored ... He has had a reboot.
Todays ride was just over 500 ks after all the stuff ups.
To morrow we head for Casino
